My husband 73 y.o. had triple heart bypass surgery in 2009. All coveredc by his HTH insurance. We spent some romantic time in Istanbul while he was healing after the surgery (about 9 weeks). Follow-up visits showed clean angiography. His doctor said the stents should be good for 6 to 10 years. Doing 5-km 'prescription' walks every day now :) We chose Taksim private hospital and never regretted. We had all the attention and comforts you could ask for.

I spent 2 weeks in Neurology Dept. Pretty awesome. All docs and personnel spoke fluent English which made it easier for me to explain my needs and wishes. No need to visit them again, I am healthy!
