Israel is a popular location for recovery and treatment owing to its unique natural and climatic conditions. The waters of the Dead Sea, therapeutic muds and sulphurous springs comprise the greatest natural treasure of the country. It is said, that here the air and water themselves ensure treatment and recovery. Drinking water rich in selenium inhibit the growth of abnormal cells in the human organism. And due to the highest atmospheric pressure in Israel, an effect of natural altitude chamber is created. At the same time the prices for recreational, treatment and recovery services, and for accommodation are among the most democratic.
Patients come to Israel for the natural treatment of almost all diseases of musculoskeletal apparatus, respiratory organs, urogenital system, as well as problems of neurological nature. Really surprising results are achieved in treating skin diseases (psoriasis, eczema, etc.) and allergic inflammations, as well as oncologic diseases. Most popular procedures include: baths with Dead Sea minerals, various therapeutic massages, hydrocolonotherapy, solar, sea and sulphurous baths under the supervision of a physician, Zalmanov turpentine baths, balneo-, phyto-, physio- и peloidotherapy, mud wrappings.
We cannot avoid mentioning SPA and cosmetic procedures offered in Israel at all the Dead Sea resorts. They are all conducted using of natural components, with high standard of services and at cost-effective prices.
At Haifa treatment and recovery resorts there are special programmes developed for pregnant women, children and disabled patients (as a result of traumas and surgeries).
In the town of Katzrin therapeutic mild mineral water runs right out of the tap, and you are able to bathe in sulphurous springs all the year round.
